Digital Asset & Delivery Manager – The Role

This new role will help us to roll out one of our most ambitious collaborations!!

Our Planet is an exciting and ambitious collaboration between multi-award winning natural history filmmakers Silverback Films (UK), Netflix and WWF, centred on a ground-breaking eight-part natural history series due to be released on Netflix globally in spring 2019.  Our ambition is to bring a greater understanding of what’s happening to our planet, engaging with a global audience, and telling an irresistible and important story to ultimately inspire as many as possible to protect our world and support our conservation work.

The Our Planet Department is based in the UK, but leads on bringing together our teams and partners around the global WWF Network to plan and deliver one of our largest and most important projects. This is where your first-class asset management skills come in.

We want you to work alongside the WWF leads on digital platforms, education, communications and partnerships and with the content producers at Silverback films to coordinate and manage the delivery of multiple content strands and assets to internal and external channels and teams. This will involve gaining an understanding of who requires what and when, and coordinating and mapping delivery timelines.

You will oversee and maintain our internal asset management system by uploading digital content and inputting the relevant rights, permissions and metadata. You will also liaise with suppliers to manage and coordinate the translations of video content as well as aggregate asset banks and content tool kits for use by the network and external partners.

Digital Asset & Delivery Manager – Requirement

You must have worked with digital asset management systems and have experience of overseeing and mapping content delivery timelines. You will also have coordinated the delivery of assets on large scale and multifaceted projects.

You will possess a good understanding of video production and digital content formats and, ideally experience of working with online video translation systems.

Highly organised, you will have an eye for detail and strong communication and team working skills.

Who are we?

WWF believes in a future where people and nature thrive.

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
