Digital Engagement Manager

London

Salary: From £42,000 to £46,000 per annum.

We are looking for a digital engagement expert to join us during an exciting time of growth and change. This role is an integral part of our new Digital department and you’ll have a major opportunity to provide impact – delivering brilliant digital communications for current and new audiences across our web and social channels. You’ll be at the heart of a new centre of excellence for digital and work with colleagues throughout our brand new Engagement Division to transform the way that we deliver online. This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a high-calibre team at a charity that is growing significantly.

Over the past 10 years, Independent Age has been through a major transformation. We’ve moved from operating as a benevolent trust, to establishing ourselves as a charity that provides impact at scale, helping older people stay independent and live well. Last year, 1 million people accessed our services.

Our plan now is to significantly grow the number of people who get and give support through Independent Age, and to deepen our engagement with our key audiences. In order to seize this opportunity and help us turn this vision into a reality, we have brought together the key functions that drive the public to Independent Age – Marketing, Communications and Fundraising – and taken the bold step of building a brand new Engagement Division.

As part of this new Division, the Digital Engagement Manager has a critical role to play. You’ll attract and engage key audiences through our growing social media channels and manage their online experience on our website. You’ll work with colleagues in Fundraising, Marketing and Campaigns to create compelling user journeys that integrate the ways that service users, donors, campaigners and volunteers experience Independent Age.

If you are bursting with digital engagement ideas, have the energy, enthusiasm and experience to turn those ideas into great online experiences, and want the chance to work with inspiring colleagues in a growing team on a universal cause, we would love to hear from you.

Closing date is 19th June

All applications will be forwarded to our recruitment partners Charity People
