Our client is a leading agency based in central Manchester, who have an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecommerce professional to join their team as an Account Director.

You'll be instrumental in shaping the company strategy alongside the other members of the senior management team. Building and maintaining client relationships will be the main focus of the role;
- You will own the relationships and growth plans for a group accounts. Responsible for ensuring that these relationships are successful and that the growth plans happen.
- Responsible for monitoring and effective, profitable management of the portfolio and working with the management team to address any service delivery issues.
-Responsible for developing a solid understanding of your client's business, sector and targets and use this knowledge to become an integral part of the client's strategy.
- Identify and pursue new areas of growth to help our clients benefit from our full range of services.
-Actively manage your client accounts to ensure all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriately.
-Deliver monthly MI reports and quarterly performance reviews to internal colleagues
- Generate/identify new business opportunities, evaluating them to ensure that resources focus on the best ones.
-Manage the production of proposals, presentations, submissions and bids, working closely with a cross-discipline team.
-Support the new business sales team to successfully implement, retain and develop new account wins.
-Identify areas of growth potential and the actions required to accelerate them.
-Create work in progress reports, along with detailed review documents to demonstrate ROI.
What are they looking for in a candidate?
-Extensive experience in either Account Management or IT Consulting
-It's essential that you have experience in a business development/sales environment in the ecommerce sector, where web applications or related technology are used.
-Have used ecommerce applications as part of an ecommerce team, or have experience in the development of ecommerce services.
-An excellent understanding of the marketing/digital side of ecommerce, as well as a fair overview of the technical.
-Have solid client engagement experience.
