A well-respected advertising agency works with some of the biggest UK and global brands is looking for an experienced Planning Director to join the team. The agency has a reputation for delivering outstanding and award-winning work with a first-class management team and the role has emerged to due to account growth.

The role

Reporting into the CSO and working alongside your other senior planning counterparts, you'll be leading on a major UK account as well as getting your teeth stuck into some international projects. The remainder of your time will be spent pitching so you need a passion and good track record in winning new business. 

The Candidate: 

You're already a successful Strategy Director with an excellent advertising background, you'll be eager for a new challenge or looking for a step-up on the career ladder. You're passionate about great creative work and naturally inspire those around you. You'll have a solid track record delivering brand and ATL comms planning within the creative advertising space.

Adept at simplifying the most complex of briefs, translating insights into actionable strategy, you're an expert in analysing trends within the marketing and advertising industry. You've a sense of team spirit, and enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in - you go above and beyond to deliver effective and creative campaigns.

Experience required:

  • A back ground in ATL advertising in an agency environment
  • Local/UK brand experience 
  • Passion for the creative product
  • A proven track record uncovering killer insights to influence the best creative idea
  • Have courage in your convictions and be able to justify your thinking
  • Strong experience in leading on local and global pitches
  • A thought leader, able to demonstrate high-level thinking and represent the planning team at a senior level

Experience working on international brands and government campaigns an advantage but not essential
