Our successful and well-established client is currently searching for an experience Buying & Procurement Manager to join their busy team in Surrey. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Buying or Procurement role under your belt, you'll have a proven track record of building strong working relationships with suppliers and negotiating contracts to ensure maximum profitability. You'll need a strong commercial mindset and financial acumen to succeed in this role, with the confidence to manage and forecast budgets as you'll be responsible for P&L for your category. As you'll be joining a small but hardworking team in a standalone role within the Marketing team, you will need to be a driven and proactive individual, who is able to work autonomously and make this role their own.

As Buying and Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers across the EMEA region. You will ensure that lines of communication stay open between the business and its suppliers and negotiate mutually beneficial pricing contracts. Strong financial acumen is a must have for this role, as you will be responsible for driving the continued profitability for the business, creating development plans to help maximise new opportunities and secure favourable deals. This role isn't just a numbers game though, you'll also need to have an eye for the latest trends; spotting opportunities for new product lines before our competitors and working with our suppliers to source these. Ultimately, this role is about driving sales and the success of the business in the long term and you will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to launch these products into the market.
