B2B Marketing Manager - Global Payments

£65,000 - £75,000

Our client is a global leader in the virtual payments industry, serving the travel industry. They are currently up-skilling their team with the addition of a B2B Marketing Manager - ideally with experience either B2B travel and/or global payments, to develop and implement programs and projects to support their European Marketing function.

Working closely with product, sales, marketing and client stakeholders, you will execute on marketing promotions and programs, putting together marketing plans and creative briefs, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget.

You will play a lead role in delivering outstanding marketing campaign performance, from collateral development, production and distribution, and will recommend marketing opportunities in line with partner objectives and strategic initiatives.

About the role:

  • Developing key initiatives to support marketing team goals, delivering ROI.
  • Directing the lead generation process, developing KPIs and targeting strategies, including lead qualification processes.
  • Supporting production, execution and reporting functions for marketing channels, including email marketing and digital marketing channels.
  • Assisting in the development of comprehensive, annual marketing plans in line with revenue and key business goals.
  • Working alongside the creative team to deliver creative concepts to elevate the presence of the brand.
  • Managing external business partners/stakeholders and ensuring unified workflows.
  • Planning workflows, developing proposals and guiding content development, plus management of promotions.
  • Working in a project-style environment, ensuring adherence to schedules and timelines.
  • Reviewing marketing copy, including sales collateral and communications pieces.
  • Third party agency management (creative and print).
  • Developing and executing on targeting strategies through direct marketing campaigns.
  • Communicating campaign reporting and analysis and identifying changes to improve ROI where needed.
  • Constant internal and external stakeholder management to pre-empt road blocks and provide solutions, ensuring marketing initiatives are successfully delivered.
  • Close working relationship with global product and marketing teams.

About you:

  • A successful B2B marketer with 7+ years' experience in marketing, you will be experienced in building strategic road-maps and targeted marketing campaign strategies.
  • Knowledge of Pardot, Salesforce or other CRM
  • Direct marketing and database marketing techniques.
  • Knowledgeable within marketing automation and lead generation/demand generation
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent in Marketing or a similar, business-related topic (e.g. International Business, Economics, etc.)
  • You will have a strong understanding of B2B product marketing, ideally within B2B financial services, payments, or B2B travel. Other industries considered if skill-set is relevant.
  • Proven experience in a campaigns-based marketing role, across B2B channels, including CRM (Salesforce), PR, content, white papers, trade events and email marketing.
  • Superior written communication skills.
  • The ability to report on and analyse on campaign performance, quantifying results, providing recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Knowledge of sales tools and techniques.
  • Strong time management throughout the campaign process, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • A Creative thinker, able to adapt to change and work successfully in a fast-moving team.
