Major Players have partnered up with a Property giant who focus on high end serviced office space in London, and boutique luxury holiday stays in the home counties. They are looking for an experienced and self-sufficient Web Developer to join their thriving team.

The role:

You will creating complex, interactive web-based solutions for desktop, tablet, and online use. You will have input on products at every stage of their lifecycle - from concept through to completion and have the opportunity to influence their development process as they look to expand.

Responsible to:

You will be reporting directly to the IT Director but will also have close interaction with the PR & Marketing Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Work on the creation, implementation, and delivery of various web-based solutions
  • Provide innovative, creative and robust solutions that meet and exceed the business expectations
  • Engage in all aspects of the product development process
  • Use existing capabilities and develop new skills to contribute to the successful development of solutions that meet exacting requirements
  • Participate in development meetings as required
  • Perform other duties as required
  • Upkeep of Windows servers where websites are hosted

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience of developing responsive websites and web-based applications for different platforms e.g. desktop, browsers, tablets, PHP, Razor, .Net (C#), LESS/SASS
  • Must demonstrate an excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery and be able to become familiar with additional libraries
  • Industry experience with Visual Studio (2013), Adobe Creative Cloud - in particular Photoshop and Illustrator and in Design
  • Must have a keen eye for detail, both functional and aesthetic
  • Knowledge of and enthusiasm for emerging technologies and platforms
  • Excellent communication, numeracy, and time management skills
  • A proactive approach
  • Ability to instruct on best practices for design/print to the junior marketing department
  • Complex understanding of wordpress, umbraco, React JS
  • Ability to liaise with other designers and developers
