Account Director – time to make a difference?

Our client is an award-winning, strategic B2B marcomms agency based in Clapham.  Due to recent growth they’re looking to add to their passionate, high calibre team and have an opening for an Account Director.  This agency is big on strategy and creativity, occupying the space between creative agency and management consultant, delivering business transformation alongside game-changing creativity to help clients build brands and attract new customers.  They’re a deliberately small team, but are home to some large, global clients.

They’re expanding their resource to include an exceptional, self-motivated, strategic B2B Account Director with a passion for working in a boutique, integrated agency.  This pivotal role gives the right candidate a chance to help grow the strategic and planning arm of the business, working alongside a dynamic and positive team.

You should be experienced in strategic account development and comfortable running integrated marketing programmes for global clients – there should be no doubt that you’ll be expected to roll up your sleeves, get stuck in and take ownership of your accounts.  You will already be an Account Director or an ambitious and capable Senior Account Manager who is proven at leading, developing and growing accounts within the agency’s core industries: tech/telco, construction/engineering, transportation/logistics and professional services.

To be successful, you will be experienced in a broad selection of disciplines – specifically B2B brand/proposition building, lead generation and sales enablement programmes.  Experience in ABM or client bids and tenders will be advantageous, and you should be confident at engaging all levels of our clients’ business – you need to be as comfortable leading a workshop as you are inspiring client account teams to use and embrace new sales tools.

Salary from £45k to £50k per annum depending on experience.
