This fast growing, multimillion pound turnover Travel Company are currently on the hunt for an ambitious and driven Website Trader. This role would suit someone who’s comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The company would love to meet someone with some experience within Website Trading who is now keen to step into a more autonomous role and further develop their skills.
Working in the marketing department, and under the Website Manager, you will be ensuring the content on the company website and associated websites is maintained to a high standard and any changes are made swiftly & with a high level of accuracy. You will also be ensuring that the trading performance of the websites is exceeding its KPI and looking at positive changes to optimise all aspects of the websites.

What you’ll be doing
You will be working across a few different websites (all travel related), ensuring performance is monitored and the website is fully optimised.
There is a focus with this role on product upload and site merchandising. You will be uploading technical new products onto the websites, ensuring that a high level of quality and consistency is maintained to ensure the customer journey is smooth and is leading to improved conversion. As part of this, you will need to ensure all product information is correct, and in line with company branding and identity.
You will be working closely with onsite marketers to ensure the product is being portrayed on the site in such a way that key marketing selling points are well highlighted. Taking full ownership and responsibility for how products are presented, you will have the final sign off in the process of getting products on to the website and database communications.
There is also a creative side to this role, where you will be reviewing press, email marketing campaigns and the websites to ensure all is accurate, error free and making the required return on investment targets.
What experience you’ll need
- Previous experience within a trading/eCommerce role.
- Experience working with/optimising the customer journey.
- Self-driven with a positive outlook, a clear focus on high quality and attention to detail.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Keen to develop within the role and take on responsibility and accountability.
- The cooperative nature of this role means you must be an excellent team player.
