Up to £65k per annum plus benefits

London with 50% travel to retail partners/clients

I am currently recruiting for a Channel Marketing Manager to build strategic relationships with, and create marketing activities for a network of retail and dealer sales teams within carrier network and retail clients across Europe.

You will play a critical role in creating and executing marketing promotions, ongoing communications and training focused on increasing client sign-ups, maximising retention and providing ongoing communications throughout the customer journey.

About the role:

  • Working within a matrix structure, you will create an annual channel marketing plan for key current and future Europe financial services products, strategically addressing the customer life-cycle and financial services product development.
  • Working with the Corporate Marketing and regional sales teams to create effective marketing, promotional and training materials.
  • Developing a customer segmentation model by channel, making recommendations for customer acquisition and retention, ensuring the FS Europe leadership team are aligned.
  • Building strong partnerships with retail stores and management, acting as the go-to person to communicate financial services value, addressing obstacles through site visits.
  • Communicating program success metrics across sales, upgrade performance, retention and soft customer feedback.
  • Reducing churn through training sales reps on how to present the customer value proposition.
  • Conducting quarterly field reviews, ensuring sales and marketing plans are being executed.

About you:

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent with 5 years' experience of channel marketing/account-based marketing or similar.
  • 5 years' experience in mobile carrier or retail channel marketing or similar.
  • Excellent commercial knowledge, preferably within a mobile carrier network or similar role.
  • Able and willing to travel 50% of the time.
  • Able to self-manage a territory with multiple retail locations.
  • Able to foster trusting relationships with colleagues and clients and influence at partner level.
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
