Our client, a global media agency that specialises in planning and producing social media campaigns and content, ranging from photography, composite graphics, short-form videos, animations, infographics and bespoke social video formats, are looking for a Junior Digital Designer with a broad range of production skills, and a desire to learn and adapt these kills in an ever evolving social creative landscape. This role will be based in their award winning social marketing team, on two of their flagship accounts, including a global cosmetic and a top 10 millennial brand.   

The successful candidate should be an avid user of social media and be passionate about working in the media/advertising industry. You will have strong skills and interest within production all the way from brief to strategy and execution, will be

Role Responsibilities

  • Concepting, presenting and producing social specific content and strategies for various formats including:
    • Video Production - concept, storyboard, shoot and post
    • Animation - including stop motion, digital animation and motion graphics
    • Graphic Design – basic level including a good eye for layout
    • Bespoke social formats – from social ad experience
  • Owning the production process (with support) for their concepts including planning, managing and executing low level shoots and post production to agreed timelines
  • Project managing- with support from senior creatives- for in-house and outsourced projects with a firm grasp of budgeting, resource planning and delivery timings
  • Being instrumental in the ideas creation process and developing concepts within the team for our retained clients
  • Working closely with teams to produce concepts and creative for the regular content calendars of our clients
  • Sourcing and sharing developments in the market to drive our offering forward and be a creative driving force within the team to ensure consistent creative thinking
  • Being involved in pitching for new business including idea generation/ development, strategy and visualisations
  • Amplifying and showcasing the best campaigns and activity both internally and externally

Requirements/Skills

  • Degree in digital marketing, design and video production (or similar)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a creative social marketing environment with projects to showcase your personal input
  • Completely Mac fluent with a strong knowledge of compatibility with PC
  • A solid grasp of design principles and best practise
