Business Development Manager, Princes Risborough - We are searching for a sales focused and target driven business development manager to join an award winning not-for-profit/membership organisation based in Buckinghamshire.

Operating on a UK wide basis and across a broad range of different industry sectors, the business development manager will form part of the commercial team and will ultimately be responsible for increasing the number of new corporate partnership accounts for the organisation.

The role is effectively an all-encompassing stand-alone position that will include taking responsibility for back office management such as reporting, client intelligence and forecasting. In terms of the business development side of the role, whilst you will have an attractive prospects list to work from, you will essentially have free reign to go prospect different audiences through your own ideas and resource. From there you will be arranging and attending business meetings with key decision makers where you will be presenting and answering questions on a broad mix of products and services that the organisation offers.

In order to be considered you will need to be a passionate and proven business development professional with a track record in B2B sales, including experience in sales pipeline management, forecasting and revenue tracking. Prior experience of the project management sector and/or not-for-profit/membership sector would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.

Effective internal and external communication is a key requirement of the role and you will be required to have proven presentation skills as well as being commercially and financially aware. Please note that a full driving licence is essential and you will need to be comfortable with spending occasional nights away from home.
