Are you a driven, passionate, self-motivating Account Manager with Exhibition Sales Experience?  Here you will be working for the Leading Fashion Trade Event on their womens wear team. You will effectively grow and manage key, strategic, new and established customer relationships, research the womens wear market, recognise trends and become an expert in the industry to also be able to contribute to future sales strategies. The role will involve great customer service manners  

The right candidate will successfully achieve and exceed specified revenue targets and performance objectives, maintain a strong sales pipeline for new and retention business through effective pipeline management, relationship building, call management, show visits (including abroad) and client meetings.

Role Purpose

• Grow, develop and convert new business pipeline to achieve target in defined market sectors exceeding  monthly, quarterly and annual target revenues

• Identify new revenue opportunities from existing customers and generate sustainable growth, year on year 

• Prepare sales plans for retention accounts and new business as appropriate

• To make the agreed number of face to face meetings and show visits to ensure regular contact with clients and to grow new business pipeline

• Sell a range of solutions to new and existing clients to maintain and grow the relationships

• Arrange & attend sales meetings with clients to fully understand their needs and ensure we can offer them the best solution 

• Seek out new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline 

• Write proposals to a high standard that sell the value of the solution

• Build account plans for all key/growth accounts that identify the opportunities and map out the action plan 

• Manage existing customer relationships throughout the show cycle to build trust and rapport to ensure that they make full use of all our services & achieve the best outcome from their investment with us 

• Able to sell the entire portfolio of solutions

Experience required

• Minimum 3 years in a similar role, with proven experience in account management and new business development, ideally gained from working with a similar premium product or service

• Experience in managing large accounts will be a plus

• Events or exhibition background will be an advantage

• Use of Salesforce or similar CRM will be an advantage
