Based on Bermondsey St (London bridge), in a converter Tannery, we are a recruitment business that is embedded within the consumer sector working with some of the best known businesses in the industry such as L'Oreal, Pernod Ricard & Mastercard. Formed in 2012, the business has recently rebranded and is going through an exciting period of growth with the creation of new roles across the business.

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to work closely with our MD and leadership team to deliver a best in class marketing strategy for the business. Key areas of focus will be:

eCRM campaigns/Direct Marketing - build on our existing campaigns to deliver an engaging content calendar targeted at our key communities.

Social Media - build our client and candidate audience across the key social channels (e.g LinkedIn, Twitter...) whilst dedicating time and resource to building the Vertical Advantage employer brand, particularly on Instagram

Content creation - work with all teams to create bespoke, relevant content for our candidates, clients and potential employees

Events - organise key events within our sectors and also for the employees of the business (6 monthly conferences, social events...)

Budget Management - reviewing our expenditure on advertising and an on-going basis assessing all options & potential return on investment

The ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing professional with a rounded skill set that is used to working in a service led environment within either B2B or B2C. A genuine passion for the wider FMCG / Food & Drink sector would be a real benefit as a lot of our content is geared towards that space. The ability to work autonomously (some home working is fine) is key within this role as you will be the only marketing resource within the business.

The successful candidate will be able to work with a tight budget and be a pro-active self-starter that can make a tangible difference to the business. the ability to engage and influence at a senior level will be particularly important as the role will report directly to the MD.
