Sales & Marketing Coordinator – Competitive Salary – London

The Role

Market-leading communications company SMP Group is on the lookout for a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join its London office and assist with all aspects of its marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills in order to meet the role’s administrative responsibilities, as well as assisting in the delivery of internal and external marketing campaigns including; email, social media, direct mail and at exhibitions and events.

You will have experience working with a campaign management system and be confident in the creation and development of marketing campaigns from initial brief, right through to execution and reporting.

You will have experience managing company social media accounts and be able to bring to the table ideas and insight on how we can develop or social presence across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.

Working closely with the sales and account management teams, you will also be responsible for the upkeep of our sales CRM system, keeping contact information updated and tracking opportunities through the sales process.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of internal and external marketing campaigns, from the initial brief to execution and reporting
  • Manage content and contribute ideas and insight on how to develop the social media presence of the company
  • Maintain the sales CRM system, updating contact details and tracking opportunities through the sales process
  • General support to the Head of Marketing

The Person

Key skills and qualities of a Sales & Marketing Coordinator:

  • Background in creating and developing marketing campaigns (1 year minimum)
  • Prior experience working on a CMS and CRM (preferably HubSpot)
  • Proficient at using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, illustrator)
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
