An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for an established Global Brand as their lead Copywriter.

As the copywriter figurehead you will be responsible for maintaining copy consistency and tone of voice development as a key guardian of the language that will be used both internally and externally.

As part of the creative team you will be working on the majority of conceptual briefs as well as with external agencies, designers, marketing executives, other copywriters and closely with their Content Writer who also will also be a direct report. The ideal person will be hungry to seek out new content opportunities and keen to help the business reach order and engagement targets.

You will support on everything from high-profile consumer campaigns to partner marketing communications that require inspiring, engaging and impactful copy. As well as building international relationships, moving forwards, the successful applicant will also be required to get closer to both Product (app), UX and Ops with a focus on working alongside those closest to their call centre staff to improve and maintain consistency in the language experienced by the customers at all touch points. Regular workshops and interactive tone of voice sessions for new starters will also be a requirement.

As the Global Lead Copywriter you will also be responsible for overseeing some freelance resource and copy-led / conceptual projects making key decisions, providing creative direction and applying strategic thinking to deliver best-in-class ideas, presentations, guidelines, toolkits, scripts, treatments, social posts, long and short form copy. You must also be able to write a punchy header, blog post and email template - so marketing experience is a must.
The ideal person will need to have a deep understanding of our tone of voice, values and the ability to generate engaging copy with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
