Ad Sales Executive / Media Sales Executive

A Sales Executive / Ad Sales Executive / Media Sales Executive is needed to join the Guru sales team. At Guru we offer a B2B advertising solutions which help companies, large and small, hire directly with the UK's largest recruitment advertising Network.

Founded in 2002, Guru uses the latest online recruitment methods to get vacancies noticed. With clients that include: Red Bull Racing, QVC, English Heritage and Pandora (to name just a few), we help them reach the best talent through our expert understanding of job boards, CV databases, community targeting and social networks. Due to ongoing expansion we are now seeking ambitious Sales Executives to tap into new accounts and build on our existing business.

Reporting into the Sales Director the Sales Executive / Ad Sales Executive will get a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of the recruitment industry selling a variety of services ranging from advertising and consultancy to microsites and more. On a day-to-day basis expect to make outbound calls to new and existing clients, update and maintain the CRM, build client relationships, develop accounts, attend client visits and much more.

To qualify... Whether you call yourself a Sales Executive, Advertising Sales Executive, Job Board Sales Executive, Media Sales Executive, Sales Account Manager or similar, we don't mind you just need to be able to demonstrate:

  • A track record within a sales environment;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • The ability to build rapport with clients;
  • Resilience under pressure;
  • A savviness towards tech (Word, Outlook, CRM Systems etc.);
  • The ability to work off your own initiative and the desire to contribute ideas;
  • Ambition;
  • A great attitude.
