In-House Mid-Senior Copywriter
Working on behalf of an innovative fitness brand, I am looking for an In-House Mid-Senior Copywriter. You must have a minimum of 4 years' commercial experience including advertising and be able to provide samples of your recent work.

You will have proven experience writing quirky, fun, tongue-in-cheek copy for recognised brands that is engaging, inspiring, clever and beyond anything, serves a purpose.

Many projects & campaigns are aimed at targeting different age ranges and demographics so you must have your finger on the pulse and always be on top of current trends. The brand guidelines in place are there to be challenged and you don't mind being risky with your ideas.

Reporting into the Marketing Director you will be working on a wide range of quick-turnaround projects including press, online, outdoor & billboard advertising, launch campaigns, promotions, launch & seasonal campaigns, social content and more. Copy will span headlines through to advert copy, branding, naming and content for digital and social channels.

Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Marketing Director, you'll write copy that's consistently on-brand, working across a wide range of media including, but not limited to: press, online, outdoor & billboard advertising, launch campaigns, promotions, launch & seasonal campaigns, social content and more
You'll be instrumental in developing and articulating the brand tone of voice
Develop and evolve the brand tone of voice - continue development and definition of how the brand speaks internally and externally
Presenting ideas and concepts to the wider commercial teams
Working on social media campaigns and digital content on occasion
Mentor fellow creatives and liaise with external suppliers and creative agencies

Key Skills and Experience:
Proven copywriting and/or editorial experience ideally with consumer facing brands
A minimum of 4 years' commercial experience including advertising
Understand how to use different language styles across different channels and to appeal to various target markets
Strong presentation communication skills with the ability to present and sell ideas to both fellow team members and board level
Able to work to quick turnaround times and respond well to changes
Meticulous attention to detail
A university degree, preferably in English or similar
