We are looking for an events marketer who is looking for a new opportunity to work on really exciting events. This is an amazing opportunity to work on a brilliant team which organises events for the largest primary healthcare media brands in the UK.

As Senior Marketing Executive you will be given responsibility for your own event portfolio across multiple brands. Working closely with an Event Producer and Logistics Manager your role will be to maximising attendance at free and paid to attend events. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be a digitally confident, passionate marketer; an analytical thinker who enjoys exercising their creative flair and working end-to-end across a range of projects and campaigns.

You will have ownership of the paid advertising budget and strategy, and be involved in the creation, optimisation and distribution of content across all our marketing channels. You will also be tasked with analysing and evaluating the performance of your events and delivering post event feedback and ideas for improvement and growth.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Planning and executing marketing campaigns
  • Creation and implementation of marketing plans
  • Management of marketing budgets
  • Creating briefs for designers for marketing collateral
  • Maintaining websites and monitoring website analytics
  • Supporting each event with an engaging social media campaign including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
  • Copywriting including emails, websites, text messages, flyers etc
  • Targeting marketing collateral to the appropriate data segments
  • Creating, proofing and scheduling email campaigns through ExactTarget email platform
  • Database management including the enhancement and building of the database in line with business objectives
  • Managing placement of ads in magazines, websites and newsletters
  • Identifying and building contra relationships with appropriate third parties to assist in the generation of brand awareness and delegate registrations
  • Delegate liaison including taking registrations and dealing with queries specific to your events
  • Post event analysis and generation of press releases
  • Analysis of marketing campaigns – trend reports, email analysis, performance reports
  • Occasional attendance at events to assist on site within the UK

KEY SKILLS

  • 3-years event marketing experience required, ideally in Healthcare but not essential
  • Experience of working on an awards campaign is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to write clear, compelling marketing copy
  • Excellent all-round communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Independent problem solving and logical thinking
  • Outgoing personality with a confident and highly professional manner
  • Experience of running analysis and reports on event performance
  • Attention to detail and proactive attitude
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and still deliver first class results
  • Experience of SalesForce and ExactTarget desirable, but not essential, however experience of a CMS system and customer database is required
