Client

Focusing within the food catering industry, they are led by research and insights, keeping them ahead of the trends with their implementation of technological advances. They look into the research behind how the smell of a BBQ affects consumer tempt spending, through to working alongside government organisations to introduce Breakfast Clubs into schools.

This role sits within their Marketing and Insights team, a dedicated force on the planning and marketing of the entire business growth of the company. They are truly customer-centric and their Marketing and Insights team drive cutting-edge business insights that help the wider business to truly understand their customers and their customers' customers.

The Role

As Research Executive, your primary purpose is to take responsibility to contribute to end-to-end research projects through a variety of research, both quant and qual. Either working alongside research agencies or taking responsibility for internal research execution, you will cover a wide range of subjects within the foodservice sector, from service delivery to sustainability, from tasting to trends.

You will contribute to the planning, development and delivery across multiple platforms. This involves research into exciting Food and Drink industry events, where you will become an expert on all things catering! You will become instrumental in either developing and/or evaluating a portfolio of products - food and non-food, campaigns, concepts and initiatives that are designed to match the diverse and evolving lifestyles of today's and tomorrow's consumers.

Through fieldwork as well as analysing your desk research, you will be able to analyse the insights of the business, focusing on and predicting trends. There is also an aspect of ad-hoc research, driving value out of existing sources as well as commissioning bespoke research to investigate all new areas and ideas.
