A large West End shopper and activation agency, which is part of a big network is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their team working on a great FMCG account!

The role:

We are looking for someone who is fully shopper friendly, able to speak knowledgeably and comfortably about best in class shopper work and have experience with producing shopper toolkits.  Ideally you will also be a skilled project manager who is used to project managing your own projects.  You will have a decent knowledge of artwork production, take a proactive approach to deliver best in class creative and lead by example whilst also supporting your peers. 

As a SAM you will be responsible for:

  • Ideation and creation of educational materials and toolkits for brands
  • Adapting integrated campaigns/ideas into toolkits for local markets
  • Executing POS in response to client/local market requirements
  • Development of E-commerce toolkits, playbooks and guidelines
  • Creating project timing plans and working closely with the operations director to deliver projects on time
  • Managing upload of creative to client portal
  • Support line manager on larger strategic and category-led projects
  • Act as support and manage Account Executive

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work in collaboration with planning, creative, and other partner agencies as required, to deliver ground breaking work for our clients
  • Manage the account effectively on a day to day basis, demonstrating to the client that you have ownership of all projects you are working on
  • Able to write and/or critique comprehensive creative briefs
  • Build strong and trusted client relationships to ensure long-term mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Start to attend and contribute to strategic meetings and account development
  • Effectively deploy and manage team resource, and appropriate utilisation of skills and expertise within the agency, including knowing when to call on more senior level involvement with your clients
  • Have a detailed understanding of the financials of each project, the overall account and the account within the team’s financial forecasts
  • Recognise potential opportunities to sell incremental ideas or services to your clients

 

 

Skills and experience

  • Shopper experience is preferred with a sound knowledge and understanding of project management process
  • Experience of working in partnership with other marketing partners / agencies
  • Passionate about delivering innovative, high quality and effective work
  • Able to get the best performance from different types of people
  • Confident presenter of creative work, fighting for the integrity of the idea
  • Positive, high energy team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
