Major Players seek a Research Analyst adept working with quantitative data sets to join a leading data & consumer trends consultancy, starting ASAP, paying £30k.

The Client
Our client are widely recognised as leaders in their space; using innovative and ever evolving technologies to scrape social media data from the internet universe to surface consumer insights and trends, feeding in to innovation. They are data experts offering a number of products for clients, working on briefs and also providing continuous data. They are in scale-up phase with offices globally, a really exciting point in their journey. They continue to win accounts of global blue chip clients and as a result they are growing rapidly and looking to hire in their Central London office. The culture is that of ambition, drive, collaboration and intelligent contributions.

The Role
They seek a Research or Data Analyst to join their data team which provides continuous data to clients. Your role will be to deeply analyse large amounts of quantitative research data from social media scraping, highlighting whether the data pulled through the technology is a strong representation of the metrics the client has set. You will be working with the Data Science and Production teams advising on how to continually adapt the products/tech so that the data sets pulled through are high quality data in line with the clients' requirements. Whilst you will be communicating what the data sets show in a digestible manner, this is not a client facing role, but you will be working closely with a number of internal stake-holders.

The Candidate
They are looking for a Research or Data Analyst with 2+ years' experience working with quantitative data sets, specifically social media data. You will have experience designing research approaches and adapting these continually to ensure high quality data is generated, building social media data queries in particular. You won't be client facing but communication skills are essential as you will be working closely with a number of internal teams, working with them to improve the offering. You will need to be proficient in Excel and crosstabs or similar. It would be beneficial but not essential to have experience with SPSS, Tableau, SQL, Python, R etc.
