Client Engagement Director for a pharmaceutical brand needed for Central London agency, part of a big network!

Do you have experience with leading, strategically growing and delivering a range of client accounts? If so, we would love to chat!

The role:

  • Responsible for leading the Agency relationship with designated accounts
  • Assume overall responsibility for the day to day management and delivery of client briefs through active team management and distribution of workload
  • Effectively manage the delivery of income targets set for the account
  • Set the quality of work standard and be the client’s escalation point
  • Be able to contribute to strategically focused creative briefs, idea generation and campaign execution, ensuring they adhere to the client’s brand, policies and relevant legal / regulatory restrictions where necessary
  • Continuously adapt and adjust approaches to benefit the client needs ensuring high standards of client satisfaction, and adapt the agency account plan where necessary
  • Maximise income opportunities whilst providing best value for the client, feeding back to the designated line manager with improvements and New Business Opportunities
  • Lead Business Review Meetings with the key client stakeholders
  • Ensure metrics and effective record keeping enable timely client reporting, and provide useful data for commercial discussions
  • Foster Key internal business relationships, i.e. Creative, Finance, Human Resources, IT, Live Production, Video etc.
  • Ensure compliance of all activity with relevant industry standards

Skills/Experience

  • Significant experience of Creative, Event, Healthcare Comms, Digital internal and external engagement solutions
  • Proven experience as an Account Director with a variety of account groups
  • Excellent experience and skill to analyse and interrogate new briefs
  • Able to identify and challenge client’s strategic direction, market trends, key stakeholders
  • Confident to propose and lead bold innovative solutions
  • Excellent business development experience and confidence
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Warm, positive and open personality
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent financial and commercial understanding
  • Confident communicator
