An exciting opportunity has arisen for a rising star in category management to join the team.
Reporting into the Head of Category the role of Category Manager is responsible for developing key customer partnerships in order to deliver first class insights that drive a competitive advantage for the business. In addition you will be responsible for delivering a category management and merchandising service to your customer, ensuring that category and shopper insights evolve into deliverable in-store executions. In support of the Head of Category you will input into the range review process from presentation to implementation in addition to making actionable recommendations to retail partners by utilising both category and shopper data insight.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of commercial, marketing or category experience gained in an FMCG setting, experience gained in a UK market is essential. You will be of graduate calibre with a track record of delivering actionable insights in a highly focused commercial environment. You must have strong presentation and commercial skills and be proficient with continuous data sets such as Kantar, Nielsen, Nielsen AD, IRI, Dunnhumby
