Group Account Director- (Media planning) £55,000- £60,000

Global media brand is looking for a tenacious Group Account Director (Media Planning) to join their vibrant team in London.

With excellent communication and confidence you will be the main point of contact for senior clients. You will develop strong relationships with new and existing clients ensuring all requests are met with efficiency and satisfaction. 

Your knowledge, drive and experience will enable you to be responsible for the strategic direction of the business on a day to day basis.

The Role:

  • Managing the creation, direction and on-going development of your client’s media strategy.
  • Injecting innovation into client’s media solutions
  • Ultimate quality control of all plan execution.
  • Management and development of your team.
  • Building and maintaining strong senior relationships internally, with clients and your counterparts at other agencies.
  • Being a valued new business contributor – strategy, ideas, and overseeing plan development

Skills:

  • Have c.8 years planning experience
  • Strong knowledge of all media channels
  • Strong communication planning skills
  • An excellent all round knowledge of all media. High degree of financial acumen and a mature polished outlook on wider business topics 
  • The aptitude to develop teamwork and the training and development of individuals under your auspices.  The team needs someone with strong leadership and mentoring skill
  • Be an idea’s person, excited to brainstorm new approaches and solutions for clients 
  • A strong collaborator who is skilled at bringing together teams to ensure smart strategic thinking and excellent channel planning
  • Good industry contacts and involvement in company issues affecting the development of a corporate culture
  • The capacity to promote company to key opinion formers including new business prospects
  • Excellent presentation skills Strong existing media planning experience, to Account Director level at another agency
  • Experience of working on a large clients preferred
  • Capable of clear strategic thinking for clients
