Account Director (Advertising Agency) – Central London – To £55k

This stunning independent advertising agency based in the heart of London is seeking a talented Account Director to work on integrated campaigns for a marque automotive brand.

The Account Director Role

The agency is looking for a bright, ambitious Account Director who has a strong background in project / account management. Anyone who loves the detail and organisational challenges of delivering multi-channel media plans with military precision will thrive in this role.

This position will focus on the brand side of the account – namely ATL – and will include TV, dealer comms (brochures, POS), outdoor, press and print production.

The agency has just started work on the client’s latest TV ad campaign set to launch early next year.

They need someone with a good strategic understanding and creative appreciation coupled with a team ethic and hands-on approach.

This extremely varied role will roughly be split into 50% origination (TV shoots you will own) and 50% implementation. You could be working on a TV campaign in the morning and helping deliver toolkits or brochures in the afternoon. So if you are looking for a ‘strategy only’ AD role this one isn’t for you.

You will also benefit from having an Account Manager to manage.

Automotive experience is advantageous but definitely not essential.

  • Ability to build and manage relationships internally and externally at all levels
  • Comfortable delivering large volumes of work to tight deadlines
  • Must be self-sufficient, able to work autonomously whilst also being a team player
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure is a must
  • Strives to exceed expectations internally and externally
  • Demonstrates support for colleagues and a collaborative approach to team working
  • Integrated experience with sound strategic, creative and production knowledge to drive projects through
