The Agency

An award-winning specialist, full-service agency is looking to hire a Mid-Senior Planner. The agency plays mainly in the financial and professional services space and is passionate about transforming the sector and creating effective communications to engage brands and their audiences.  They deliver work across ATL, digital and direct channels and have some impressive brand names on the roster.

What you'll be doing -

Reporting to the Group Planning Director, you'll lead across a range of accounts from small challenger brands to multi-corporate organisations. You'll work end-to-end on campaigns and projects, from unpicking the client brief, gathering insights through to inspiring creative teams and executing the deliverables. You'll build solid relationships with senior client contacts helping to move their businesses forward, keeping up-to-date with the latest trends and knowledge in the PS & FS sectors.

Who You are - 

You're an insight-led Planner, with strong integrated experience in brand and comms planning you'll have led 360-degree projects and campaigns across a range of clients. Ideally, you'll have worked with brands in the professional and financial services sector. You'll be adept at expressing opinions and presenting ideas in a clear and concise manner, able to communicate at a senior level with internal teams and clients. You'll be able to inspire confidence in your clients and offer creative yet commercial strategic solutions to their business challenges.

What you need -

  • 4-5 years in brand and comms planning in  both B2B and B2C markets
  • Brief interpretation and insight development
  • Research – qualitative and quantitative
  • Able to translate data to insights
  • Confident developing strategy and proposition
  • Experience supporting on new business pitches
  • Up-to-date with new media trends and current developments (including digital)
  • Able to generate creative ideas and spot revenue opportunities
  • Proactive in identifying new business proposals.

Experience working with professional and financial service brands advantageous
