We are a technology company building innovative smart ticketing solutions for transport, including the world’s first completely ticketless travel solution.


Our rapidly growing company is in need of a resourceful, German-speaking Grad / Junior Business Developer to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new markets. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a huge opportunity for a self-starter with a passion for sales. 

You’ll be identifying and reaching out to potential customers to generate and qualify leads, confidently explaining our technology and its benefits. Working with our CEO, you’ll nurture B2B relationships, attend key European events and assist in lead conversion and elements of aftercare. We’re a small team, so you’ll enjoy being ‘hands on’ in many aspects of the role.

Our reach is growing rapidly in Europe so, in addition to fluent German, consideration will be given to those with some proficiency in French, Italian or Spanish (or all three!).

Grad / Junior Business Developer Key roles & responsibilities:

+ Generating and qualifying sales leads through market research and outreach
+ Developing new business via various channels including outbound calling, attendance at industry events, social media and email campaigns.
+ Populating and maintaining the sales pipeline
+ Working with the marketing team to develop and maintain suitable sales copy, presentations and other collateral.
+ Assistance with the translation of English copy to German 
+ Ad hoc customer relations, aftercare and other related administrative tasks

Essential skills and experience:

+ Some sales experience, ideally in tech or transport or a great appetite for sales / business development
+ Training and/or qualifications in related subjects/areas
+ Exceptional interpersonal skills
+ Tenacity towards outbound prospecting and cold calling
+ Fluent in German & English

Desirable skills and experience:

+ Some proficiency in French, Italian or Spanish
+ Some experience with pipeline management software, e.g. Pipedrive/Salesforce
