My client is an integrated agency in East Berkshire, within commuting distance of the M4 and M3 and they are looking for a middleweight to senior creative designer to join their growing team . They have  a diverse range of exciting brands and due to recent pitch wins they are looking to bolster their in-house design expertise. 

This is a key role in their creative studio. They are looking for a confident designer that can originate from scratch, enhance what has gone before or add that layer of polish and consideration to the creative output.

Someone passionate about their craft and revelling in the finer details. Comfortable in presenting the design rationale to clients and eliciting feedback. Communication is an integral part of the job, as designers work with both management and clients to formulate campaigns that meet specific objectives 

Their ideal candidate must be able to lead the design conversation. A creative mindset that is always monitoring and absorbing visual trends to deploy them in fresh and dynamic ways. A passionate presenter of their work.

To be an essential part of the pitch team matching the pitch-winning strategies and concepts with ground-breaking vision and design. To be a voice in meetings and comfortable sharing opinions and the clarity to guide people.

Should possess knowledge and skill in the following software packages:  InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

The world in which work exists and the way work is viewed is changing on a daily basis and whilst a sound understanding of traditional print production techniques is required - an appreciation and understanding how campaigns translate, or originate, from a digital space is essential.

Managing timelines and expectations on delivery of work.

Creating multiple mood and reference boards to help sell your vision. 

Identifying best direction, selling them to team and ultimately - to client

Creating direction for projects and guiding team members

Skills required

A self-starter mindset

Confidence to be bold with their work

The ability to think creatively and deliver impressive concepts

At least 4 years Industry experience in the design field

Strong written and verbal communication skills

The ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks.

A full and fluent knowledge of current design tools and software

A background of working well as part of a creative team

They want designers that take pride in their work, getting it right and investing the appropriate amount of effort and energy into accomplishing this. Going above and beyond.
