Strategy Director

We are working with a BTL agency leader that delivers integrated solutions in the B2B & tech category. Based in Shoreditch, this agency works with a range of companies in the tech space, from challenger brands through to global conglomerates. They pride themselves in delivering programmes for their clients which orchestrates change in product penetration and pipeline whilst supporting account growth and customer retention.

The role

Reporting into the Head of Strategy, this is a pivotal role in the agency. You'll work closely with senior level stakeholders, to make strategic recommendations on how to achieve their business goals, through the strategic development and delivery of customer focused ABM programmes, creative and content campaigns.

Who You are

You'll be a rigorous strategic thinker, with commercial insight and awareness. You're looking for a fresh challenge in B2B marketing and will have a strong agency background. Perhaps you're a Senior Strategist looking for a step-up or a Strategy Director tired of a siloed role. You'll be experienced in working and consulting at a senior leadership team level, adept at guiding and shaping projects within the agency. It goes without saying, you inspire confidence in those around you and are a thought leader with the B2B/tech space.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategy, creation and execution of overall ABM programmes (1:1, 1:Few and 1:Many)
  • Drive planning for account selection, segmentation, insight, messaging, content & creative, campaign planning and delivery, measurement and programme management
  • Champion the Account Based Marketing (ABM) programme both internally and externally with clients.
  • Partner with clients to secure client stakeholder engagement and understanding throughout.
  • Lead workshops with key client stakeholders
  • Manage the end to end process of accounts and subsectors

What you need 

  • At least 7 years in a Senior Strategist or Strategy Director role within an agency
  • At least 1-2 years ABM experience
  • Experience of working in B2B markets preferred
  • Experience of working in the technology category
  • Experience in working with senior stakeholders in clients
  • Proven track record of the creation and delivery of integrated marketing programmes
