Major Players are working with a central London design agency who specialise in high end and luxury interiors for global clients. Due to expansion they are now looking for a project coordinator to join their projects and production team.
Reporting to the Commercial Planning Manager you will plan, organise and control design to ensure that drawings are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to standard.
The Project Coordinator will help manage all aspects of production and studio operations ensuring the studio performs to its optimum and delivers work to brief and spec. You will be responsible for ensuring that the design studio output is of the highest quality, developing best practice and procedures in the studio.
You will Help with the development of the detailed project plans to deliver, project milestones and key project outputs and deliverables, provide detailed information and time estimations to ensure eﬀective communication of delivery deadlines ensuring internal processes and documentation are reviewed and updated regularly.
It's essential that you have previous experience in a design, interiors or architecture practice, have the ability to think critically and have natural problem solving skills. You will own your own projects so experience of full life cycle implementation of complex applications is desirable.
The Project Coordinator will have:
* PRINCE 2 (desirable)
* High proficiency in MS Project
* Progress reporting to leadership team
* Ownership and delivery of project team, project plan
* Skilled in the identification and management of project risks and issues
* Work with a high level of autonomy
This could also be a fantastic opportunity for a studio manager, project manager or account manager with hands on project management experience who wants to step up and get more hands experience and become a central component to an already successful operation.
