Head of Production
IMG Productions is seeking a high-achieving talented Head of Production with experience in a variety genres (including advertising, branded content), to support our existing leadership team on high-end branded content productions.
The Head of Production will oversee multiple production teams across editorial and advertising content; ensuring the team establish and maintain a strong understanding of brand values, ethos and strategic vision. This will involve the successful candidate ensuring all productions delivered are in line with the content strategy, client briefs and within budget parameters. In addition to this, the Head of Production will manage and oversee all commercial negotiations, rights, clearances and contracts connected to clients, freelancers, suppliers and other third parties – such as federations and agencies.
Other key responsibilities will include, working closely with the creative team on client presentations and creative pitches. This will involve the Head of Production working collaboratively with agencies, ensuring the creative responses to a range of production briefs, are in line with clients’ brand values, ethos and strategic vision.
Demonstrable experience as a Head of Production in a variety of genres, with proven experience of producing and managing budgets is vital, as is experience of negotiating deals and contracts with third parties. Experience of managing the legal, commercial and compliance on a range of production outputs is also essential.
PLEASE NOTE: This role will require the successful candidate to travel for meetings and shoots, which at times may be at short notice. Occasional weekend work and unsocial hours may be required, as and when dictated by demanding production schedules. Interviews will be taking place, from 16th November 2018 – 21st November 2018.
