The UX Strategist will come from a retail website space and will be focusing their B2C website on B2C transactions primarily for Financial Services, Insurance, and Telco products, but also have other retail products. The UX Strategist will be excited about the opportunity to build a website's user experience strategy from the ground up, focusing on customer and seller loyalty as well as brand management.

Michael Page have teamed up with one of the country's most trusted brands. My client is one of the UK's largest retail network, as well as the largest financial services provider in the UK, with over 11,600 branches nationwide - more than all of the UK's banks and building societies put together.

Description

The key responsibilities for the UX Strategist will:

  • Conduct competitive analyses of other websites that operate in the same space
  • Prepare customer analyses based on our target demographic and initial transactions
  • Participate in creating a content development strategy
  • Coordinate with UI design agencies on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design and more
  • Track usability goals and prepare reports for senior management
  • Develop mock-ups for our development and operations team
  • Conduct usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and create reports showcasing your findings

Profile

The successful UX Strategist will:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Design, Development or Engineering required
  • Superior knowledge of all Adobe products, including InDesign and Illustrator
  • Excellent PC skills required
  • Advanced understanding of the C2C marketplace and the functions of auction and e-commerce websites
  • Experience preparing detailed competitive and consumer analyses

Job Offer

On offer for the London based UX Strategist is up to £60k (depending on experience), £3.5k car allowance, 18% bonus and 27.5 day holiday along with other great benefits and career progression.
