Strategy Director - Brand Activation Agency - London ( 4 month contract)

An industry leader in the shopper and experiential space, this well-respected brand activation agency works with some of the best FMCG and alcohol brands in the world. Their work ranges from brand positioning, activation programmes through to digital campaigns and brand experience. They believe that for brands to be the best they must provide the best experiences possible.
They are looking to hire a Strategy Director on a 4-month contract with strong experience in the alcohol and beverage category.
From decoding the client brief, running research and facilitating workshops, through to writing detailed strategies, developing detailed activation plan and briefing creative, you’ll be leading on all shopper, retail, trade and experiential activity on some of the biggest spirits brands across Western Europe.
As well as answering briefs, you’ll partner with the client to spot great business opportunities. You’ll uncover key insights which inform robust strategies/activations that generate outstanding creative. In addition to this, you'll work closely with the New Business Director to play your part in pitching as well as defining new shopper media opportunities and delivering thought leadership.
You pride yourself on developing rigorous strategic thinking within the shopper marketing space. You think from an integrated perspective; taking into account brand, category, audience, culture, consumer journey and the broader media.
An expert in the drinks market, you’re excited about how your strategy alters consumer behaviour and creates amazing experiences. Adept at building shopper path to purchase plans, you’ve worked on a broad range of campaigns across supermarket, e-com and convenience to bars and pop-up. You enjoy building strong relationships with clients and can positively engage those around you to deliver creative and effective work.
- Strong agency background
- At least 7 years solid shopper strategy experience
- Experience in the beers, wine and spirits sector
- Must have On and Off-trade expertise
- Hands-on - you live and breathe culture, nightlife and events
- Ideally some international strategy experience
