We are looking for an Arabic Speaking Sales Executive to work on the world’s largest education technology portfolio. Covering the breadth of lifelong learning, the series brings together industry leaders, practitioners, professionals and inspirational figures to share ideas on how to support learning together through technology. You will work on the Middle East’s leading education technology leadership summit and exhibition is taking next year in Abu Dhabi UAE.

This event has been carefully crafted after months of research with key education stakeholders in the region: government officials, education leaders, educators and solution providers. A  line-up of high-level speakers delivered presentations, facilitated workshops and discussions, shared innovations, case studies and best practices, and demonstrated solutions across the two-day summit. The event stimulated thought leadership, knowledge sharing and ideas to achieve a common goal of internationalising education practices and ultimately improving student outcomes

Role Versatility and Key Priorities 

What the role can do for you… 

 Work with a truly international client base

 Help to develop your sales and negotiation skills across the entire sales cycle 

 Provide international travel 

Key Priorities:  

• To secure new and re-book existing exhibition revenue across stands and sponsorship

• Define and develop existing and new sales to meet agreed revenue and profit targets 

• Achieve and exceed agreed show and personal targets by direct selling to existing and new clients

• Ensure full understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements 

• Identify new sales opportunities and develop them into long-term relationships 

• Work together with the international offices and the Sales team assigned to the relevant event

• Build and maintain strategic relationships with existing key clients. 

• Ensure on-site customer care and re-bookings 

• Handle client queries quickly and efficiently maintaining a high standard of client correspondence

• Contribute fully to the on-site preparation and on-site management by working effectively with the Event Team

• Work closely with and support the sales team in all matters concerning the Company’s business.

• Carry out various ad hoc duties as necessary. 

Requirements of the Position 

Performance measurements: 

• Achievement of personal monthly and annual sales targets 

• Achieving activity levels i.e. number of calls per day/per week, number of meetings/proposals 

• Updating weekly pipelines/reports and ensuring they are accurate 

• Understanding of the sector and industry dynamics ▪ Growth of existing portfolio by generating new ideas 

Required Competencies: 

• Experienced sales person (min 2 years selling) 

Business fluency in Arabic (speaking and writing) AND English 

• Strong background in telesales

• Should display resilience and adaptability 

• Good problem-solving skills and solutions focused 

• Self-motivated and driven by success 

• Enthusiasm for learning and ability to quickly grasp new ideas 

• Project Management and Organizational Skills 

• A high level of self-motivation and the ability to manage heavy workloads and meet target

• Ability to prioritise effectively, anticipate obstacles and find effective solutions

• Persuasive and professional on the phone
