Marketing Manager – Successful London Agency Boasting Large, Global Clientele

I am working with a breakthrough design and innovation agency, on the hunt for a Marketing Manager. They are a team of business strategists, technologists, behavioural, product and service designers to design better businesses, products and services.
This agency are on the hunt for a talented marketing professional who can support and focus business growth. The manager is a lively, dynamic, enthusiastic member of the agency – ready to inspire, ready to promote, ready to join in with all agency activity. They will assist in maintaining the marketing calibre of the agency; act as an internal hub of comms and activity; and build the agencies image with potential clients and industry influencers for profile and new business opportunities.
The main goal for the individual is to execute the marketing and sales strategy and plan that promotes their work, people and point of view with a view to generating more visibility and attracting new business.
What you’ll be doing
Reporting into the Group Marketing and Sale Director, your responsibilities would broadly cover general marketing, public relations, events and communications and awards. You’ll be delivering a calendar of marketing initiatives across the year (inc PR, events, inhouse projects etc). You’ll be responsible for the agency profiles and websites, managing and updating the website and writing and updating content across news, work, contact etc. Social media strategy and implementation alongside the project management of marketing materials will also fall under you, as you will take a key role in the agencies outreach efforts.
You will be working to build and maintain the client contact list, further enticing new clients with the writing and maintenance of case studies. Alongside attracting new client with your marketing activity, you’ll also be working to improve public relations for the company by managing the PR calendar, identifying and exploring PR opportunities, managing strategy, writing press releases and ensuing campaign coverage is up to date.
Finally, you’ll be working on delivering a calendar of internal and external events including the awards process (identifying awards and categories, overseeing entry process and organising team invitations if shortlisted). You will work to develop a culture of proactive promotion within the agency.
What experience you’ll need
- Self-starter, able to deliver.
- Results focused and able to make an impact.
- Both strategic and gets hands dirty in the work.
- Demonstrable evidence of marketing experience in the design and tech fields.
- B2B experience a nice to have.
- Consultancy experience a nice to have.
- Excellent communication and written skills.
