Digital Account Director - Leading Sports marketing Agency

An award-winning sports marketing agency, based out of London, is looking to bring on a captain to lead their digital marketing efforts across the full digital marketing mix as they continue to service some of the biggest names in the sporting world. Premier league champions, national sporting teams and some of the largest sporting event organisers globally, to mention just a few.

As the Digital Account Director, you will report into the Client Service Director, manage client relationships across their portfolio of clients and provide strategic input across creative, strategy, measurement with a focus on the full digital marketing mix (web, paid social, mobile, email content, SEO, PPC, direct to consumer marketing) including performance measurements against CPA, CPC and CPM campaign results.

You will be tasked with;

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships across the portfolio of clients as well as your wider team and stakeholders
  • Devise digital strategies alongside the delivery teams, to achieve objectives and continue to improve ROI for your clients through innovative campaigns
  • You will work closely with the Client Service Director and Business Development teams to grow revenue opportunities with your existing clients as well as mapping the market to explore business development opportunities
  • Implement project management processes and tools to improve efficiency across the delivery teams. Moreover, you will be tasked with managing three Account Managers, guiding them on projects and team management to insure their career trajectory is aligned with the Agency and that their performance is matching their client requirements
  • Devise and implement performance campaigns across paid media with a focus on e-commerce/retail
  • Manage the relationship with key tech providers

To make the team you will have:

  • 5+ years of experience working with an array of clients, managing relationships and working towards project budgets
  • Experience working in the sports industry or with sports clients is advantageous, but not a requirement
  • Wealth of experience in direct to consumer marketing with an emphasis on paid media channels
  • Comfortable managing and building out a client servicing team with a focus on team development through PDP's
  • Ability to identify and exploit opportunities to grow revenue through the services provided across your portfolio of clients
  • In-depth understanding of the full digital marketing mix mix (web, paid social, mobile, email content, SEO, PPC, direct to consumer marketing) including performance measurements against CPA, CPC and CPM campaign results.
  • A passion for the pace of digital marketing and digital platform evolution across key players like Google and Facebook
  • A passion for Sports and the desire to be a leader in sports marketing
