The Job

An Account Manager is required by The Lead Agency to work in our Agency Sales & Account Management team based out of our London office.

The Account Manager will be responsible for developing partnerships with agencies and engaging with all key stakeholders in their agency patch. You will focus on creating opportunity, managing the sales pipeline, building relationships and driving revenue goals.

We expect the Account Manager to be able to:

  • Provide insights, identify, prioritize, develop and close new business, and grow existing business within these agencies
  • Develop excellent customer/partner satisfaction whilst maximising yield
  • Reach and exceed personal sales goals influencing customers to engage with the full range of lead types and categories
  • Work with internal stakeholders to grow current revenue streams and build new ones

The Responsibilities

The Account Manager will be tasked with responsibilities across three key areas:

Business Performance

  • Deliver the agreed quarterly and annual revenue targets from assigned agency accounts
  • Build on existing relationships to develop the account base
  • Work with a variety of internal teams to meet and maximise customer satisfaction

Business Management

  • Increase customer satisfaction and resolve any issues quickly and effectively
  • Provide accurate and regular pipeline updates to the Head of Agency Partnerships
  • Manage TLA sales processes to capture and manage customer information E.g. CRM
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth running of lead-gen campaigns

Developing Relationships

  • Develop relationships with the affiliate/planner/buyer communities within the client portfolio to position TLA and to generate new sales opportunities whilst up selling on current clients
  • Facilitate the development of strong commercial and personal relationships between the customer and TLA at all levels of their businesses

The Skills

  • Minimum 3 years sales experience with a proven and demonstrable sales track record
  • Experience of setting sales strategy and on-boarding new clients
  • Experience of selling to senior agency and direct clients
  • Working experience of key account management, sales cycles and influencing key clients
  • Working ‘in-agency’ as an extension of the agency team
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with problem-solving ability
  • Ability to perform well within a team and independently whilst out in the field
  • Commercially minded with a good understanding of business needs
  • Experience and understanding of the digital marketing space
  • Strong understanding of business processes and tools
  • Automotive experience desirable
