We are looking for an experienced Commercial Media Manager to support and develop our Commercial Media Team. This is a new position supporting the team, demonstrating the continued growth in this area of the business.

The key purpose of this role is to work within the Commercial Media Team, bringing digital media expertise to service our current partner roster and create new opportunities for sales prospects. You will work with our Partnerships Sales and Partnerships Marketing teams as a subject matter expert on digital advertising, content ideation, platforms / publishers to create and execute innovative digital activations on behalf of our current and future partners.

Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Thought leadership; understanding the digital/content world and how we can use it to shape the Club’s future media offering to partners
  • Sales and activation; working collaboratively with Partnership Sales to bring digital expertise to negotiations
  • 360 Campaign Management; play a central role in campaign planning, execution and reporting in order to deliver excellent results for partner digital activations.
  • Monetisation; responsible for monetising the ever-growing City digital Estate and content offering, as well as looking for new sales opportunities

The successful candidate for this position will have demonstrable experience working with a range of media publishers and platforms. We are looking for candidates with experience running a media account, understands content marketing and who can be creative and innovative in their thinking. Additionally, social platform and CMS skills such as analytics tools, account planning, client servicing and commercial awareness are essential for success in this role. The successful candidate will receive accountability of working on the group’s biggest commercial partners (including global brands such as Etihad Airways, Nike, Nissan, Unilever, Tinder and Gatorade) on high profile projects and collaborating with forward thinking organisations within sports media. The role will provide exciting opportunities to progress and learning support across our global football business.
