We are working with a fantastic independent creative agency to find their next Head of Planning.

The Agency:

The agency works with some of the biggest names in FMCG, drinks, tech and lifestyle. They deliver work across brand, integrated comms, content, social and experiential channels and adopt a behavioural led approach to solving their clients business challenges. The agency has undergone a major transformation within the last 18 months and is going from strength to strength in the work they produce and the clients they have on their roster.

The Role:

Planning is a valued entity at this agency and they are now looking for a talented Head of Planning to lead the team. This is a pivotal role in the agency as you'll be instrumental in developing and maximizing the potential of our ways of working and thinking that we’ve invested in since 2014, led by Planning.

Working closely with the leadership team you'll be adept at responding quickly to challenges and turn projects around using your core strategy, insight and creative abilities. You'll use the agency's behavioural strategic processes to solve client's problems, prospect, new accounts and align teams to understand, support and drive the agency’s strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the Planning team
  • Oversee strategy for key clients.
  • Develop the team ensuring they reach their potential 
  • Drive growth of existing clients spotting further opportunities for revenue
  • Maximise adoption and best practice of  behavioural strategy within the agency
  • Lead Planning delivering on new business pitches.
  • Act as an advisor to the leadership team

 

Who they're looking for:

You'll be an award-winning Strategy Director ready for your next challenge or perhaps a Head of Planning frustrated in a siloed role. Either way, you have a strong agency background. You already champion new ways of working in your current agency and are constantly pushing the boundaries to produce outstanding creative. You have an integrated skill-set with experience in brand, integrated comms, content, social and experiential channels.

 You pride yourself on your ability to get the best out of people and have a track record in developing a team. With excellent presentation skills, you have the ability to effectively articulate creative ideas and strategic plans concisely to internal team, clients and partner agencies.

You know how to inspire those around you, create energy and excitement. You thrive under pressure. Ideally, you'll have global experience and can adapt to different ways of working and thinking.
