Marketing Director needed with a background in the content and broadcast sectors for growing digital media business.
Our client is the leading expert in news and factual production, channel launches and the distribution of PR content. They design, build and manage digital platforms to distribute the content of global brands including IKEA, PwC, KIA, adidas, FILA, Lamborghini, Porsche and the IMF. They also provide those brands with strategic consultancy, editorial and production support, media relations and live coverage at major events and launches.

The Marketing Director will lead all marketing and communication activities across our clients group. You will be actively involved in the execution of those activities and will ensure they deliver a strong return on investment.
You will also support the directors in the development of the company's wider business strategy and will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgement and excellent management skills.


Responsibilities
Brand Marketing;
* Develop and implement strategies to build positive brand awareness for our client, its products and services.
* Ensure that all company marketing, communications and materials are aligned with the brand strategy and that the strategy is effectively communicated to all managers and staff.
* Work with the directors as required to develop the brand positioning and identity.
Product Marketing
* Design and implement marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for each of our clients brands, products and geographical divisions in close collaboration with the sales, product and account teams.
* Ensure that these strategies, plans and campaigns are based on sound data and rigorous analysis and that they are suitably resourced and effectively executed.
* Support the sales team in the creation of a comprehensive range of sales collateral.
* Set, monitor and report on appropriate KPIs.
Digital Marketing
* Take overall responsibility for the website and all social media channels at corporate, brand and product levels.
* Ensure that our client makes the most effective use of these channels.
* Set, monitor and report on appropriate KPIs.
* Ensure that staff and managers are suitably trained to support the company's digital marketing strategy and that there is company-wide "buy-in" for it.
Public Relations & Communications
* Manage all global PR and Communications activities with brands, journalists, consumers and the media.
* Work with the Head of Marketing and Communications to develop PR plans for all of the company's activities, initiatives, products and services.
* Actively support the execution of these plans.
* Set, monitor and report on appropriate KPIs
* Build relationships with relevant trade and industry bodies.
* Lead internal staff communications within the Group.
Strategy
* Develop marketing strategies for the group and individual business units within the group.
* Ensure that these strategies are based on the rigorous analysis of sound data and that they are properly costed and presented in a clear and timely manner.
* Manage the acquisition and analysis of market research and competitor data.
* Support the directors in the development of the broader business strategy.
Line Management
* Manage the Marketing and Communications team, which currently comprises a Head of Marketing & Communications and a Digital Marketing Executive.
* Set and monitor their goals, lead and support them in their work, mentor and coach them as required and manage their performance.
Reporting
* Provide timely and regular reports as required on the company's Marketing and Communications activities to The Group Director of Strategy and the directors.
