Reporting and Insights Director - London

The Reporting and Insights Director reports directly into the Operations Director and is a highly-trusted and senior role within the business. As Reporting and Insights Director, you will oversee our reporting and analytical offering to our clients across all products, in line with our strategic objectives.

You will work closely with the Agency Leads and Consultants to understand the client narrative. You will work to build and lead a highly capable reporting and insights function.

Our client works with over 90 different agencies in 84 countries and is structured into three divisions including offices in Munich, Sydney, Mexico and Singapore. The consultancy provides relationship intelligence (through unbiased client feedback, intelligent relationship tools and coaching); enabling agencies to better understand and manage their clients.

Responsibilities
Core Business

*Work with the Operations Director and HR Director to create the Reporting and Insights team.
*Work with the leadership team and client facing teams to understand our service and strategic ambitions. This will enable you to lead the strategic thinking on reporting and insights across all products to advance our offering.
*Lead the team to develop useful insights derived from our data (including but not limited to norms in our data, industry and client specific trends).
*Lead the team to produce meaningful reports for our clients.
*Lead and implement our capability to be able to deliver at scale on new and existing products.
*Standardise reporting to ensure a consistent, high quality baseline for existing products.
*Responsible for identifying and monitoring competitors, researching and introducing appropriate best practice in to our reporting and insights capability in line with business strategy.
*Act as a point of escalation for reporting and insight concerns and challenges.
*Work with the IT business partner to understand our technical capabilities in reporting, and input and help develop them going forwards.
*Involvement in New Product Development to ensure we are set up for success. Advise on the best reporting and analytical methods, necessary resource and scalability.

Team development
*Mentor and manage the Reporting and Insights team (in particular your direct reports - Data Scientist and Reporting Team Leads.
*Build a team of motivated, engaged and inspired team members

Security
*Comply with all aspects of our security policies, taking personal responsibility for the security of your own, the company's and our client's data.

Skills required
*In-depth knowledge of data analytics and visualisation capabilities, tools, concepts (e.g. Tableau or equivalent visualisation apps, BI tools (e.g. PowerBI), semantic data models, data science, statistical analysis, etc.)
*6+ years experience in data analytics, reporting and execution.
*3+ years experience of direct people leadership
