This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Junior Designer to join a creative branding and advertising agency based in the heart of Manchester. It's quite a demanding role in a fast-paced agency environment that demands a creative flair, up to date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to projects.

You will be responsible for producing design solutions to communicate client messages with high visual impact. You will be providing graphic design across a range of products and services including; websites, advertising, books, magazines, posters, animations, product packaging, exhibitions, displays, corporate communications and corporate identity (giving organisations a 'visual brand'). You will work alongside an Account Manager who will pass on creative briefs for you to work on. You will be developing concepts further and choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the clients objectives.

●Interpreting the client's business needs and develop a concept / design to suit their purpose and specifically the brief
●Estimating the time required to complete the work and sticking within commercial restraints
●Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
●Thinking effectively to produce new ideas and concepts
●Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
●Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to account managers
●Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer aided design (CAD)
●Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
●Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
●Demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches if required
●Keep abreast of new technologies

You should have a passion for all things creative and design; both online and offline and be enthusiastic about typography. You will bring a creative flair to the team and should be strong on concept development. You should be educated to degree level and be fluent in the Adobe Creative Suite programmers.

Agency experience is highly advantageous, but most importantly you need to be comfortable working across brand, print and digital projects. You should be self-motivated, full of initiative and have a portfolio packed full with stunning designs.
