Social Media Strategist - £40,000-£45,000 - London

With 3 offices in the UK they are growing and establishing themselves as one of the best digital agencies in the UK.

THE ROLE
This is a unique role for a Social Media Strategist to join a leading digital agency and work closely with one of their most important client- a leading financial company. You will spend 3 days per week with the client at their HQ in Surrey (near Reigate) working closely with their marketing team, and the other 2 days working at the agency offices (in either London or Brighton- depending on which is easiest for you).
With support from the agency, you will work with the client to provide in-house social media expertise, both paid and organic. You will provide strategy leadership and consultancy to help them identify new social media opportunities, incorporate social media into their existing and new marketing plans and define their social strategy.
Despite owning the strategy side of things, it's important that you're still happy to be hands on with responsibilities such as community management and campaign plans/reporting. The output will be a mix of B2C and B2B and you'll work collaboratively with the agency's paid and organic social teams as well as copywriters and designers to craft social posts that speak to the client's audiences.

YOU
To be considered for this role it's important that you have in-depth social media experience and knowledge- both paid and organic. It will be beneficial if you have financial or professional services sector experience but it's not a prerequisite. Equally you could come from an marketing agency background or in-house; what's most important is that you have both B2B and B2C social media, paid advertising and digital strategy experience.
You'll need to be a first-rate communicator and be good at working collaboratively with others yet autonomously.
