The CSP is the trade union, educational and professional organisation for the UK’s 58,000 chartered physiotherapists, support workers and students; and one of the largest representative bodies in healthcare.

We have an opportunity for two experienced communications professionals to join our Campaigns and Regional Engagement team, to assist in raising the profile of physiotherapy locally.

Through the development of effective communications, you will engage and inspire CSP members to be active in promoting the value of physiotherapy in their local areas, whilst also building opportunities to increase the profession’s influence among local stakeholders and decision makers. In addition, the role will involve substantial input into national and regional campaigns, awareness days and events.

First class communication skills, confidence and self-motivation are essential attributes for this role, along with the ability to work effectively across team boundaries. Educated to degree level, or equivalent, you will also need expertise in at least one of the following: media relations, stakeholder relations management, social media, marketing, online communications, public affairs, writing for publications and event management. Other requirements include a willingness to travel and to undertake some occasional work during evenings and weekends.

CVs will not be accepted.

Closing date: 12 noon, 26 February 2019.

Interview date: 20 March 2019.

We offer an excellent benefits package, including 27 days annual leave, career average pension scheme and lunch allowance.

We regret that only short-listed candidates will be contacted.

The CSP is committed to equality of opportunity and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
