This very well-respected global content solutions agency is on an upward trajectory.
Due to unprecedented growth the agency would like to appoint a Client Services Director to help expand its offering, consolidate senior stakeholder relationships and further enhance its London presence.
The agency is open minded as far as titles are concerned, therefore Managing Partners, Business Directors and Client Leads will be considered, as will other Client Services Director equivalents.
This is a global specialist content marketing solutions agency with offices in London, Edinburgh and New York. Put simply, its work allows its clients’ brands to develop more valuable relationships with their audiences.
The management team is tight – good friends as well as colleagues – and as such the agency has a real family feel about it.
The Client Services Director role
A newly created position, this represents an exciting opportunity to join a driven, intelligent and creative leadership team and strategically influence the next stage of the agency’s growth.
The Client Services Director will be responsible for client management and the commercial development of key agency accounts.
In the role you will take responsibility for strategically developing the accounts against targets and ensure the excellence and relevance of solutions delivered.
Reporting in to the agency’s CEO, the role will be based at the agency’s London satellite office with fortnightly travel to its Edinburgh headquarters. This is flexible, though, and the Client Services Director can to some extent dictate his or her working week to suit.
You will work alongside the agency’s Creative Director in London and remote manage two of the agency’s four teams based in Scotland – comprising AD, SAMs, Senior Content Managers, AEs etc.
The agency’s core client base consists of financial services clients so financial services experience is desirable. However, the agency is equally willing to consider candidates with non-FS backgrounds who can bring a fresh perspective to the sector.
Your clients will be both B2B and B2C and one of your major clients will be an established high-street bank.
There is also a real opportunity for the incoming Client Services Director to replace the existing CEO / Managing Director eventually as there is no subordinate in the current structure.
This is a ‘proper’ Client Services Director position with emphasis on driving the commercial side of the business and developing senior stakeholder relationships. You are not expected to be involved with content creation.
Agency (rather than client side) experience is required and any experience in a senior content-led role may give you an advantage, but this is by no means essential.
