This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role providing strategic and practical marketing expertise to some of the leading schools throughout the UK, as Marketing Manager for the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST).

The GDST is the UK's leading family of independent girls' schools, including Wimbledon High School, Putney High School, South Hampstead High School, Oxford High School, Newcastle High School for Girls, and many more. As Marketing Manager, you will be based at our head office near Victoria, working with 12 people in the Marketing and Communications team. You will provide support to all 25 of our schools and academies in the management of their branding, creation and production of marketing materials, advertising and large-scale strategic projects that contribute to the GDST vision of being pioneers in, and shapers of, the future of girls’ education.

Your key responsibilities will also include creating and delivering the GDST brand campaign, creating a variety of marketing materials from conception through to final implementation and ensuring their successful delivery across multiple media channels. This will include managing relationships with key external partners (creative, media, print) and ensuring the GDST brand is
protected and respected. You will need to be able to manage costs and budgets as well as the ongoing development of the GDST brand guidelines.

This role is ideally suited to someone who has worked in an in-house marketing team, marketing agency or advertising agency with experience of independently managing a wide-ranging, creative production project. Experience of agencies is preferable (either working in one or as a
client) with an understanding of media schedules, planning and buying.

Excellent communication skills, relationship building skills and the gravitas and authority to work directly with school senior leadership teams and especially Marketing Directors are also essential.
