What the job involves

As part of the Digital team, you’ll manage digital marketing activity across a range of channels, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), email, display advertising and search. Over the past year, these have been huge growth areas for us as we engage the public to help us achieve our ambitious strategy, Ten Years to Tame Prostate Cancer, which
aims to halve the projected number of men dying from prostate cancer by 2026.

You’ll be working closely and collaboratively with a range of colleagues across the organisation to effectively communicate key messages with target audiences. From raising awareness of the increased risk of prostate cancer in black men, to UK-wide fundraising events such as The London March for Men, to brand-building campaigns, you’ll find truly engaging ways to rally
passionate football, cycling, music, running, political and health communities to our cause.

What we want from you

You will have the perfect mix of writing and editing skills, combined with a passion for understanding what motivates people to click, like, share, open, read, sign up and donate. Your experience in developing paid and organic social media campaigns, particularly on Facebook, will be combined with a good knowledge of email marketing best practice, as well as the ability
to provide advice and recommendations to help other teams make better use of digital channels.

You will know how to balance competing priorities, manage stakeholders and have a strong understanding of digital marketing technology and analytics. You’ll also be confident in monitoring and tracking activity to get the information you need to create meaningful reports and recommendations. Using your own expertise, our in-house design and website support, you’ll be
using your marketing powers for good in the fight against the most common cancer in men.
