We are looking for an experienced Head of Strategy to join the team to help grow the business internationally. This position would suit a comms planning or strategic lead at a media agency who wishes to make the move to a well backed Media Owner looking to bring in a thought-leader in Marketing, Social and Influencers.

Reporting to the CCO and working closely to VP Sales and Head of Marketing, the role is pivotal to the development of the company's long term, holistic influencer offering to clients directly.

The Head of Strategy will work closely with existing clients and on new business pitches, support product and insights department and support new business activity.

The ideal candidate will have a background in ideation, coms planning, agency pitching and media planning and buying. Knowledge of the influencer marketing space is also a benefit. We are looking for someone who loves developing, producing, leading and closing pitch work for long term media partnerships. Being a Powerpoint Wizard is also a must!

Experience at both agencies and working in a strategic or creative solutions function within a media owner is a benefit. This is a key role in our organisation and part of the UK leadership team, the candidate will have an excellent previous track record and a keen interest in the development of our client's platform.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with VP Commercial, CCO and other Client Partners to understand and develop market leading pitch work.

Feedback success and failure quickly, driving forwards the iteration and creation of new services and propositions that will deliver commercial growth for customers.

Work with key clients to develop long term partnerships.

Identify new revenue opportunities within the influencer marketing space.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 10+ yrs experience in comms planning / media planning and buying.
  • Proven track record in developing long term client partnerships.
  • Knowledge of and experience with strategy, tactics, and program execution.
  • A strong collaborator, thought-leader - drives change through ideas and actions.
  • Extensive contacts at agencies and key client sectors (Fashion, Beauty, FMCG)
  • Experience in influencer marketing
