Our client is a highly successful division of a major FMCG food and drinks company operating across a number of diverse categories. The company has a significant presence in the premium soft drinks category with their market leading brands. The business has some really exciting future growth plans for both existing and new brands, supported by substantial marketing investment.
As part of their continued strategic drive for future growth, they now wish to appoint a highly talented and experienced commercially minded Marketing Controller.
Reporting in to the Marketing Director, with 6 direct reports, your remit will be to lead all brand marketing aspects for key brands, be responsible for the strategic plans and deliver the P&L of the brand portfolio. You will provide inspirational leadership to direct reports and the broader team, in their development and achievement of both personal and business objectives.
You will champion the development of a 5 year innovation strategy for your brand portfolio. You will continue collaborative partnerships with agencies and third parties and ensure they are managed well and challenged effectively. You will be a proactive and valued member of the marketing leadership team.
To qualify for this exciting career-developing marketing opportunity, you will have progressed your FMCG consumer marketing experience through the ranks within a well-known food or drink branded company. With a structured yet highly entrepreneurial flair for FMCG consumer marketing, you have gained a breadth of experience covering all elements of the marketing mix and can proudly articulate your brand growth successes and achievements.
